But Chris Wood’s version of the character on Supergirl is a different take on the super-powered Daxamite than the one in the comics.
There’s an intense battle brewing on Supergirl — and not between the Girl of Steel and any archenemies, but among many of the CW series’ fans, who seem to be approaching the well-teased Kara/Mon-El romance from two extremes: Love it, or hate it. Finally the conversation gets to be too much and Kara requests to return home and Mon-El asks to go with her. So Winn breaks into the museum and the two of them do the horizontal dance much to his delight. In other words, he got screwed after getting screwed.
Alex and James go to bat for Winn and ask for hours to clear his name. Maggie agrees but the clock is ticking to find Lyra and get the proof she was behind the art theft. After interrogating a bar patron at the alien hangout where Winn met Lyra, they find out that she stays in a trailer park with those from her same race.
While adjusting to living on his new home world, he begins to use the identity of Mike Matthews. The way in which Mon-El departed the world was definitely heartbreaking to see in its own right, as he found himself forced to leave the Kryptonian he loved in Kara behind because of a plan to eradicate Rhea from the earth. The one silver lining? In a way, you can almost say unfortunately that the characters may have been too happy for their own good.
The legacy of Kara and Mon-El a. Karamel among their fans is pretty clear — they were a popular relationship that was built on lightness and love as opposed to darkness and negativity. For the time being, the top priority for the show seems to be addressing the other side of the Sanvers proposal that happened in the closing minutes of the episode. Beyond that, there is also another big issue at hand as the show has to do its part in order to figure out who the mysterious person is who was put in the pod so many years ago.
That will set the stage for season 3. In the end, the conclusion seems to be this: This could very well happen here after Mon-El figures out how to find his way back to Kara. He could even remain a part of the cast in the midst of his search.
